Work With Dr. Adwoa

Telehealth Services Under Supervision — West Virginia & California

Services are delivered under the supervision of a licensed Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) as part of supervised fieldwork toward certification. Telehealth services are available only to clients physically located in West Virginia or California.

Structured behavioral health support focused on stabilizing family health systems — including nutrition, daily routines, stress regulation, and medical follow-through — within caregiving environments navigating disability, chronic illness, or neurodivergence

Current Services

Individual Consultative Sessions (Telehealth)

Sessions are structured, collaborative, and focused on measurable health and routine stabilization goals.

Early sessions focus on:

• Mapping daily caregiving and medical coordination demands
• Reviewing current nutrition, sleep, and health-related behaviors
• Identifying patterns affecting consistency and follow-through
• Assessing barriers to medical and therapeutic routine adherence
• Developing practical, measurable strategies
• Exploring family feeding dynamics & diet-related behaviors when relevant

Work is typically organized around structured phases of stabilization, implementation, and follow-through rather than indefinite weekly sessions.

Depending on family needs, services may include:

  • Functional assessment of behavior patterns

  • Parent training and caregiver skill-building

  • .Structured behavior support within caregiving systems, including parent-mediated medical and therapeutic routine consistency.

Services are consultative in nature and do not include psychotherapy, mental health diagnosis, or medical treatment.

Family Eating & Food Behavior Consultations

Ongoing consultative support for parents seeking structured guidance around family eating patterns within complex caregiving systems. This work examines how stress, reinforcement patterns, environmental cues, and daily demands shape food behaviors for both parents and children.

Sessions focus on stabilizing mealtime dynamics, reducing stress-related or emotional eating patterns, addressing selective eating concerns, and replacing unsustainable habits with practical, behaviorally informed alternatives. Work is collaborative, structured, and designed to produce measurable, sustainable change over time.
